I have a praying mantis and it’s sick, the problem is, it’s self mutilating? Whats the deal with this? thanks.
I have had the mantis for about 5 weeks but it’s about 9 weeks old, feeds on anything I find in the garden. But my brother recently bought some large crickets, they smelled and allot of them in the box were dead, I have been feeding my mantis them for about a week and a half (the live ones), do you think this could be the problem of this mad and erratic behavior.
yeah.
crickets often carry disease…you have to be carefull where you get them from.
even feeding bearded dragon lizards with crickets can be very detrimental to their health because of this cricket disease.
anyway im not to sure of the symptoms or what its called but i was told this at a pet store.
hope the mantis is okay
