What Should I Buy My Brother for Graduation?
I am a sophomore in college, and my younger brother is graduating from high school this June. I want to find a good gift for him, but I don’t really know what he wants. I do not live at home, and I hardly ever speak with him. He will be attending a state university in Massachusetts (state where both of us were raised) in the fall, and I’d like to get him something useful for school, such as book money. I am wondering what else I could give a male entering college? I don’t want to give him something cliche or on the “girly” side, like a boxed picture frame or a stuffed animal with a Sharpie for signatures during a grad party. Any advice appreciated, thanks!
I am in the same exact situation, except I didn’t realize it until I read your question. I am a sophomore in college and my brother is graduating this fall from high school as well. Think about stuff you have now that is usefuly living in the dorms (assuming you live in the dorms and he will too). Maybe get a collection of things. Get a nifty looking box and fill it with stuff he won’t realize he needs until he gets there: a shower caddy, collapsable laundry basket, tooth brush or any little items so he won’t have to worry about them later. The watch idea from someone above was good too, but if you’re in college then I imagine you can’t spend a fortune on this, lol (that’s my situation). But if you do have the money, maybe stick something expensive like a really nice watch in the middle of the box. Depends on what your brother is into.

Just for Fun: The Story of AAU Women’s Basketball $19.96 Prior to the 1972 passage of Title IX, women’s basketball was a minor sport in the United States.
