how much is it 2 mail a small box from baltimore,md to winston salem,nc?
im shiping a small box of clothes 2 a friend in north carolina.its my first time mail a box and im kinda lost on how 2 do it.do i take the clothes in a bag n ups put it in a box 4 me or do i put it in a box and just take it their and get a stamp on it or sumthing…..please help
if you go to UPS, i think they will box stuff up for you. however, they are far more expensive compared to the post office.
you can calculate the postage via the USPS website:
http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm?from=home&page=0061calculatepostage
if you don’t know the weight of your box, hold the box and weigh yourself. then weigh yourself without the box and calculate the difference.
if you use the post office, you would need to put everything in a cardboard box, tape it up, and, of course, address it. don’t be afraid to ask the postal worker any questions you have.
